Lark's Head Bar Tie (Unidirectional) [Level 1]

There are 7 techniques you should learn before this one. Click here to add this tie as a goal and see them in order.

Notes and Resources:

This bar tie is fast and looks nice if you don't mind finishing with the rope at one end instead of in the center. It's not as accurate as other methods in terms of how much space is left for the wrists, so you may want to choose a different bar tie if you're tying someone with small hands who can easily slip out.

Position the bight at one end; wrap just in one direction, half-hitch through cuff at the end. Half-hitch back around middle for even loading.
