Ankles to Chest Hogtie [Level 1]

Notes and Resources:

This is one of the most basic hogties; it uses separate ropes for each component, and so can be easily adjusted and adapted.

  1. Tie a Quick Shoulder Harness (or Shinju).
  2. Double column tie the wrists with a short rope.
  3. Double column tie the ankles with a long rope, then attach to back of shoulders with a slipped half hitch.
  4. Attach the wrists to the stem between ankles and chest.

    Don't forget the easier way to start a Larkshead at an extremity is simply to form the two loops at the bight and turn them in to face each other, then slip it over the feet, in this instance. No need to run the rope all the way through the bight at that point.
