- Lark's Head Bar Tie (Centered, Alternating)

This is one of the most basic hogties; it uses separate ropes for each component, and so can be easily adjusted and adapted.
- Tie a Quick Shoulder Harness (or Shinju).
- Double column tie the wrists with a short rope.
- Double column tie the ankles with a long rope, then attach to back of shoulders with a slipped half hitch.
- Attach the wrists to the stem between ankles and chest.
