The Tasuki, or kimono tie, is a pattern that goes over the shoulders and behind the back, generally leaving the arms out until towards the end if they are tied at all. There are a great many variations on this tie, but the key feature is the X shape on the front of the chest.

DeGiotto demonstrates a version very similar to the start of the CTKv4.
